From bones to broth

Today, I’m grateful that making homemade stock is stupidly easy. 

1 organic Thanksgiving turkey carcass + half an onion + garlic + water = 11 cups of amazingly good, no salt added turkey stock.

That’s almost 3 cartons of the store-bought stuff, which runs about $4 if you get the organic kind. Small steps to a checking account I can be proud of.

This stuff is gonna be so good to cook with.
